Become a member

Both ODA- and non-ODA Countries are welcome to become members of the Alliance and benefit from knowledge-exchange and an international network of actors willing to jointly work on the sustainable management of ODS and HFCs. All COPA Country Members must sign the non-legally binding Declaration of Enrollment to show the support to shift to a sustainable refrigerant management. The documents are available to download as a word-file below. Country Member applicants are invited to directly contact the COPA Secretariat to set up a personal meeting and receive further information on how to proceed with your application.


Note on eligibility for COPA funding: All COPA members may submit their project ideas to COPA. However, for a project to be eligible for receiving (technical / policy / financial) support and funding from COPA, the activities must be anchored in an ODA-Country that is a COPA partner or member. The COPA Steering Committee is responsible for the approval process and reviewing of applications. 

COPA is open to all entities and representatives from the public and the private sector, academia and civil society. With the COPA membership-application you signify that your entity is interested in becoming a member of COPA. The membership implies the support of the vision of COPA and an active participation in one or more working groups.
