COPA 1st Plenary Meeting and Introduction of the Steering Committee
COPA's first plenary session will be held June 20-21, 2023. The objective of this session is to introduce the steering committee, provide an opportunity for our members to connect with each other and finally to present some of the ongoing pilot projects and the progress of the working groups. The event will be held online and will be for Alliance members only.
The steering committee election will take place until June 4. This is an important step in consolidating the alliance as a member driven organization. Given the importance of the issue, the introduction of the steering committee will be the first item on the agenda for June 20, followed by a networking session for our alliance members. An input on extended producer responsibilities (EPR) will conclude the first day.
The second day will start with a presentation of COPA's pilot activities in two countries. This will be followed by another networking session. We will close the 1st plenary meeting with two inputs on financing mechanisms and technology solutions for ODS and HFC banks management.
